About the event

This species-rich grassland is home to a multitude of these colourful grassland jewels with 26 of the 43 Irish species recorded here, such as the vibrant pink meadow and regal waxcap.

Roy will help you identify the array of different species, and explain why Slievenacloy is ranked as one of the second best places to see them in Ireland.

The walk will be gentle, covering around two miles.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for an outdoor event. Suitable for children over 12 accompanied by an adult.
