26th October 2024. 7.30 to 10pm. Quiz in Laragh Lodge Restaurant, Glenariff.

It is that time of year again to hold our annual fundraising quiz at the Laragh Lodge. Our Quiz Master, Gabriel McAuley, will be provided us with an exciting challenge to test our General Knowledge.

27th October 2024. 9.30 to 11am Hide open morning, Glendun.

Join a Glens Red Squirrel Ranger in the comfort of one of the first Red Squirrel Hides in the Glens of Antrim. The GRSG first developed a Feeding and Observation site at Cregagh Wood in 2009. This is now a well-established site and is regularly frequented by Red Squirrels. A wide variety of song birds is also drawn to the hide by a constant supply of feed provided by the Red Squirrels “digging” into the feeders. The wood itself is an excellent example of an old mixed woodland and so provides a variety of habitats.

The Hide is located on the Clady Road, Glendun, BT44 0TA, just off Loughareema Road. Suitable clothing is advisable as it is cold these mornings.
